Danbee (Deb) Kim is an illustrator, designer, and educator. She received her Master's in Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago, where she discovered her passions at the intersection of social justice practice and visual communications. She also holds artist residency at Grassroots Collaborative, a community labor coalition representing over 150,000 Illinois residents for racial justice and economic equity.
Danbee is also proud to be a member of For the People artists collective, a radical squad of Black artists and artists of color in Chicago who create work that amplifies struggle, resistance, liberation, and survival within and for marginalized communities and movements.
